Start where you are — I’ll meet you there.
Whether you’re starting over…
or simply remembering who you are — you don’t have to do it alone.
You’ve carried so much for so long. Maybe now, you’re finally ready to create something just for you — a retreat, a shift, a story that’s ready to be shared.
Let’s sit down, get honest, and explore what’s calling you next. No pressure. Just a soft place to land and someone who truly gets it.
Because when you rise, everything around you does too.
Hello There, I’m Shelley.
and I’m here to help you reconnect with your true self.
I’ve walked my own journey of healing, self-love, and reclaiming my power—and I’m here to guide you through yours. With years of lived experience and professional training, I understand that true transformation doesn’t happen overnight. It takes radical self-love, the courage to face what’s holding you back, and a commitment to making yourself a priority.
Through retreats, coaching, and The Do It For You Method™, I help women rediscover their energy, purpose, and inner strength—without guilt, shame, or feeling like they have to be perfect.
From my heart to yours…
This isn’t just a blog—it’s a space for raw reflections, real stories, and gentle reminders you’re not alone.
Taking a break from social media.
I just need to shut out some of the noise and be in my own little world for awhile.
Going quiet for a few days. ♥️
This mama is officially ON VACATION from mom life for the week 😂
Kids are off to camp and for the first time in a LONG time… I have an entire week to myself.
I kicked it off last night by stepping in for a sister who needed me and hosting two beautiful sound healing classes. 💕 @newstarseed
And now… I have no idea what to do with myself 😂
No kids. No schedules. No “MOOOOOM.” Just me for an entire week.
So tell me — what should I do?!
Drop me some ideas 👇
Adventure? Spa day? Solo date? Road trip? Something completely random?
I’m open to it all. 😂

Over the last 15 years of my own healing journey, I can count on one hand the women who have truly impacted my life and @spiritmedicinewithkim is one of them!
I met Kim 2-3 years ago at one of her cacao ceremonies. There was something about her story, her presence, and her wisdom that I was immediately drawn to. Our paths haven’t been the same, but there were pieces of her story that felt familiar to mine.
Since then, I’ve had the privilege of having Kim facilitate at each of my local SHINE retreats, sharing her gifts and shamanic healing with the women who step into these spaces.
But somewhere along the way, she became so much more than someone I co-facilitate with.
She became a friend. A mentor. Someone I trust deeply.
I don’t take friendships—or any relationship in my life—for granted. When I love someone, I love them with my whole heart.
Kim,
Thank you for believing in me.
Thank you for listening to me.
Thank you for guiding me when I’ve needed it.
Thank you for reminding me to believe in myself.
Thank you for always rooting for me.
And thank you for trusting me enough to share space alongside you as we both continue to learn, grow, and evolve.
Most of all, thank you for simply being you.
I love you with all my heart, and I appreciate the friendship we’ve created more than you probably know.
Here’s to many more ceremonies, retreats, crazy ideas, dreams chased, and sacred spaces held together. ❤️
I can’t wait to see where both of our journeys take us next.

We’re all battling something from within.
Sometimes it’s easier to keep walking through the shadows than to worry about who might gossip, judge, or misunderstand your journey.
The people talking aren’t living your life. They aren’t carrying your pain. They aren’t doing your healing.
So keep choosing yourself.
Keep doing the work.
Keep walking.
Your peace is worth far more than someone else’s opinion.

Growing up, I never had many girlfriends. I could never handle the gossip, the drama, or the competition.
These women have completely changed that for me.
They’ve shown me what true friendship looks like. Women who cheer each other on, celebrate each other’s wins, hold space during the hard moments, laugh until our stomachs hurt, and remind each other that we never have to do life alone.
This is what sisterhood means to me. It’s not about being the same. It’s about feeling safe enough to be yourself.
I don’t take these friendships for granted. They have healed parts of me that I didn’t even realize were still hurting.
To every woman who has walked beside me on this journey… thank you. I love you all. ❤️
Thanks for celebrating my 40th birthday with me!

If you would have asked the younger version of me what life would look like at 40, I don’t think she could have imagined any of this.
This past decade held some of the hardest moments of my life. Divorce. Health challenges. Single motherhood. Financial stress. Losing parts of myself… only to slowly find them again. There were days I questioned everything, and days I simply survived.
But somewhere along the way, I stopped waiting for life to happen to me and started creating a life that felt true for me.
This photo feels like that moment.
Standing in front of the mirror, holding little Shelley in one hand and a candle in the other. Looking back at the woman I’ve become. Not perfect. Not finished. But stronger, softer, wiser, and more myself than I’ve ever been.
Forty doesn’t feel like an ending.
It feels like permission.
Permission to stop shrinking.
Permission to dream bigger.
Permission to create without apologizing.
Permission to love deeply, laugh louder, take risks, and continue healing.
I’ve built a business from the ground up. I’ve held space for hundreds of women. I’ve raised two incredible children. I’ve walked through fire—sometimes literally, sometimes figuratively—and somehow I’ve always found my way back to the light.
And I’m just getting started.
Thank you to every single person who has been part of this journey. To those who have supported me, believed in me, challenged me, and walked beside me… thank you.
Here’s to this next chapter.
More adventure.
More connection.
More courage.
More joy.
More laughter.
More love.
And always…
Doing it for me, so I can continue showing up for others.
Welcome to Chapter 40. ✨🤍

Lately, I’ve been sharing more of my journey.
The healing.
The grief.
The lessons.
The moments that have challenged me.
The moments that have changed me.
Because that’s who I am.
I don’t believe we heal by becoming someone else.
I believe we heal by remembering who we are, giving ourselves permission to grow, trying new things, and embracing the parts of ourselves we’ve hidden for far too long.
After sitting in circles and holding space for so many women, one thing has become crystal clear…
Every single person is carrying something.
A grief.
A loss.
A dream.
A fear.
A battle that most people know nothing about.
That’s why I’ve learned not to judge another woman’s journey—or anyone’s journey for that matter. It’s theirs. We don’t have to understand it to honour it.
Instead of criticism, let’s offer love.
Instead of assumptions, let’s offer grace.
Instead of judgment, let’s offer support.
Life is already hard enough.
So many of us are afraid to be seen. Afraid to be judged. Afraid to disappoint others. Afraid that if we change, the people around us won’t understand us anymore.
But life is meant to evolve.
We’re not meant to stay the same person forever.
The people who truly love you won’t expect you to remain who you were years ago. They’ll make room for the person you’re becoming.
I’ll continue to share my journey authentically—not because I have it all figured out, but because I know someone out there may need permission to embrace their own.
Give people grace.
Support their healing.
Cheer them on as they grow.
You never know how much courage it took for them to simply show up.
Do it for you. 🤍
One of the things on my 40 Before 40 list is to make someone’s wish come true.
Now, as much as I’d love to give away a winning lottery ticket or send someone to Bali… I’m not quite there yet. 😉 But one day.
So, I’m asking you…
What’s one wish that would genuinely make a difference in your life right now?
Maybe it’s a coffee date because you need someone to listen.
Maybe it’s help around the house.
A babysitter so you can finally have a break.
A sound healing session.
A 1:1 healing session.
A yoga class.
A little act of kindness.
Or something completely different.
Within reason, I want to hear your wishes.
On my birthday, July 31, I’ll randomly choose one person and do my best to make that wish come true.
Sometimes the biggest impact doesn’t come from the biggest gifts. It comes from someone simply saying, “I’ve got you.” ❤️
Drop your wish below or send me a private message if you’d rather keep it between us. ✨
#40Before40 #MakeAWish
The snake isn’t the story.
The story is the woman who finally chose to shed the life that no longer fit.
The marriage.
The expectations.
The fear.
The people-pleasing.
The version of me that kept waiting for the “right time.”
My body is transforming.
My mind is awakening.
My soul is shedding.
Healing didn’t happen all at once.
It happened one choice at a time.
One boundary.
One breath.
One step.
This photo isn’t about being fearless.
It’s about trusting myself enough to keep walking, even when I couldn’t see the whole path.
If you’re in a season of becoming, keep going.
One day you’ll look back and realize you weren’t falling apart.
You were shedding.
